Abstract

Le XVIIIe Congrès international des sciences historiques sera d'ailleurs bien davantage qu'un lieu de rencontres extraordinaires, car il promet d'être aussi passionnant que varié avec un total de 53 séances. Les travaux d'organisation du Congrès entrent dans leur phase finale. C'est le Comité international des sciences historiques (CISH) qui prend l'initiative de l'événement.

The 53 sessions of the Montreal Congress (in addition, the International Commissions and the Internal Commissions have their own programs within the Congress) are built around three major themes - Nations, Peoples and State Forms; Women, Men and Historical Change: Case Studies on the Impact of Gender History; and Peoples in Diaspora, Changing Sources, Forms and Meanings.
