Note on the Financial Statement of the CHA

Abstract

The financial statements of the CHA for 1995 hâve been reviewed by Mr. William L. Parrott, Chartered Accountant. The surplus that occurred in 1995 is mainly related to the Annual General Meeting of the CHA held at the Université du Québec à Montréal in conjunction with the International Congress on Historical Sciences. Jean-Claude Robert and his team kindly negotiated the low costs associated with the conférence.

Les états financiers de la S.H.C. pour l’année 1995 ont été révisés par M. William L. Parrott, comptable agréé. La tenue du congrès annuel de la S.H.C. pour l’année 1995 à l’Université du Québec à Montréal conjointement avec le Congrès international des sciences historiques est en grande partie responsable du surplus de 1995. Jean-Claude Robert et son équipe ont négocié pour la S.H.C. les coûts minimes associés à l’organisation du congrès.
