Publisher: Canadian Historical Association / Société historique du Canada
Series/Report no.: Vol 33 numéro 2;
Abstract: In a recent reply to Steven High’s H-Canada posting regarding historians sharing authority,1 I used the expression “community-building history” to describe my work. CHA Bulletin editor John Willis asked me to elaborate on this for the benefit of fellow association members. It is my pleasure to do so here.
