Abstract

The historical access to reports of security forces have dominated the advocacy portfolio with important cases in Canada and Hungary putting a spotlight on the need for archival independence from political and police-state interference.

La SHC a récemment multiplié ses interventions publiques dans le domaine de l’accès aux archives des services de sécurité, plus particulièrement dans des causes importantes au Canada et en Hongrie, qui reflètent notre opposition à l’ingérence politique et celle de l’État policier dans les demandes d’accès à l’information.
