Abstract: The Canadian Families Project is an interdisciplinary project funded by a Major Collaborative Research Initiative (MCRI) grant from SSHRC and by five participating universities (Victoria, York, Ottawa, Sherbrooke and Concordia). The original team, a majority of whom are historians, includes Peter Baskerville, Annalee Golz, Lynne Marks, Larry McCann, Ian MacPherson, and Eric Sager (ail at the University of Victoria, the host institution); Bettina Bradbury and Gordon Darroch (York University); Chad Gaffield (Ottawa); Peter Gossage (Sherbrooke); and Danielle Gauvreau (Concordia).
