Update on the CHA and Library and Archives Canada, november 2011

Abstract

I want to provide you with an update on the Canadian Historical Association’s involvement in the consultation process for Library and Archives Canada’s modernization program. In engaging this process we are cooperating closely with the Association of Canadian Archivists, which also has an interest in ensuring that LAC’s modernization program addresses the concerns of the community of archivists as well as researchers.

Je tiens à faire une mise à jour sur la participation de la Société historique du Canada dans le processus de consultation de Bibliothèque et archives Canada dans le cadre de son programme de modernisation. En s’engageant de ce processus, la SHC collabore étroitement avec l’Association of Canadian Archivists, qui a aussi intérêt à s’assurer que le programme de modernisation de BAC répond aux préoccupations de la communauté des archivistes et des chercheurs.
