Other Titles: Social Media: Twitter and #CHASHC2015

Series/Report no.: Vol 41 numéro 2;
Abstract: Not yet ten years old, Twitter (2006) continues to attract users and in particular #twitterstorians. Again at this year’s conference, historians and attendees live tweeted from panels, sent out information about their own panels, information about where to find events and key locations, and feedback on how Congress and the CHA annual meetings were organized quickly reached organizers. As has been noted before, live tweeting provides CHA members and the public not able to attend the annual meeting a chance to follow panels of interest and engage in debates and questions with historians.
