Abstract

L’année 2015 a été une excellente année pour les historiens qui ont assisté à plusieurs activités en nombre record. En premier lieu, pas moins de 607 congressistes sont venus à la réunion annuelle de la SHC à Ottawa cette année, fracassant ainsi le record de participants de 499 qui avait été établi à la réunion annuelle à Concordia en 2010. Le thème de cette année « Repenser l’interdisciplinarité en histoire » a trouvé un écho chez plusieurs historiens qui pouvaient choisir parmi 129 sessions à l’évènement annuel de la SHC.

2015 has been an exciting year for historians with numerous conferences and other activities attracting record numbers of participants. First, the CHA Annual Meeting in Ottawa attracted no less than 607 participants easily surpassing the 499 who attended the event at Concordia in 2010. Th is year’s theme, “Rethinking Interdisciplinarity in History” resonated with a large number of historians who could choose from 129 sessions at the CHA annual gathering.
