Abstract

The major themes of the 1991 Annual Meeting are: The 1791 Constitution; The Politics of Memory, the construction and reception of history; The shifting boundaries of public and private life, including in particular Women in Universities; Continuing connections, the old world and the new.

Les grands thèmes du congrès annuel de 1991 sont: la constitution de 1791 ; mémoire collective, conscience historique et pratique de l’histoire; les frontières mouvantes de la vie publique et de la vie privée (ce thème englobera les communications liées au thème "Les femmes au sein des universités"); Ancien Monde-Nouveau Monde: persistance des rapports.
