Abstract: Graduate student Dan Marshall has been working with the National Film Board of Canada to create two films, a one-hour long film to be aired on the History Channel, perhaps as early as this fall, and a second, half-hour educational version of the same. The films explore the incident known as the “Fraser River War” of 1858, which is a large component of Dan Marshall’s ongoing doctoral dissertation at the University of British Columbia.
