Abstract:	The CHA is pleased to announce the launch of its 2017 prize competitions. Many thanks go to the two Council members responsible for the prizes – Lara Campbell (Clio, Albert B. Corey and John Bullen) and Catherine Gidney (François- Xavier Garneau, Sir John A. Macdonald, Wallace K. Ferguson and Jean-Marie Fecteau). The CHA is also grateful to the numerous individuals who sit on the various prize committees.
